Most lenders think about a gift at closing. It's the big moment, everyone's at the table, and it feels like the natural time to say thanks.
Here's the problem. We run moving crews, and by closing day most borrowers are already boxed up. Some are moving that same day. A roll of moving labels handed over at the closing table is a nice thought, but the boxes are taped shut by then.

How the labels help your borrower
This is the part that makes it a gift and not just swag with a logo on it.
Each room gets its own color. Master Bed, Kitchen, Living Room, Storage and so on. The borrower puts the matching label on each box as they pack. Then they put a door ID tag on the door frame of the matching room in the new house.
On moving day, whoever is carrying boxes just matches the color on the box to the color on the door. The crew doesn't have to ask where anything goes, and the borrower doesn't end up with kitchen boxes in the garage.
